A Handy Checklist for Trump Haters

Feel free to check off the items you dislik

  • I dislike that he made cruelty to animals a federal crime.
  • I dislike that he launched a war to stop the opioid crisis and allocated billions of dollars to fund it.
  • I dislike that he destroyed the ISIS caliphate. When was the last time you saw ISIS decapitate innocent people, or burn or drown them alive?
  • I dislike that he killed Abu Bakr Baghdadi and Qasem Soleimani and Qassim al-Rimi and other terrorists without going to war.
  • I dislike that North Korea is no longer lobbing missiles over Hawaii.
  • I dislike that after decades and many president’s promises to make America energy independent, President Trump actually did it. And I dislike that he made the world so much safer because we are no longer dependent on the Middle East or anyone else for energy. (We were safer until President Biden reversed everything Trump did, and now we are begging Saudi Arabia and Russia for more oil. I like that.)
  • I dislike that his energy policies kept the price of fuel oil, natural gas, and gas at the pumps at a low and steady rate. I like to pay higher prices for everything. Thanks President Biden.
  • I dislike that his policies created what was arguably one of the best economies the world has ever seen.
  • I dislike that his economic policies made average wages for working class Americans rise significantly for the first time in decades and that they even outpaced their bosses’ income increases.
  • I dislike that the income of an average family of four increased by about $6000 per year due to Trump’s economic policies. But thanks to President Biden, everything is back to normal now. Due to inflation and other factors, that $6000, and more, is all gone.
  • I dislike that the unemployment rate for black Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans reached an all-time low.
  • I dislike that the income of an average middle-class family increased by about $6000 per year.
  • I dislike that the poverty rate hit an all-time low as result of Trump economic policies.
  • I dislike that he built a wall to keep criminals and drugs from coming across the southern border, and to stop human trafficking, including the sex trafficking of children. Of course, President Biden reversed all of that and now we have set new records in human trafficking and sex trafficking of children along with massive amounts of drugs that are killing our citizens. In fact, we don’t even control the border anymore; the Mexican cartels do, and they are making billions of dollars. They love our president.
  • I dislike Trump because he was determined to slash the price for medications and in some cases cut prices by 50%, which has prompted Big Pharma to launch a multi-million dollar campaign against him.
  • I dislike that he signed a law ending the gag-order on pharmacists that prevented them from sharing money-saving options on prescriptions.
  • I dislike that Trump signed the Save Our Seas Act which allocates $10 million per year to clean plastic and garbage from the ocean.
  • I dislike that he signed a bill for airports to provide breast-feeding stations for nursing mothers.
  • I dislike that he signed the biggest wilderness protection and conservation bill in a decade designating 375,000 acres as protected land.
  • I dislike that Trump was the first US president to appoint an openly gay man as an ambassador  to a major G8 nation. He appointed Ric Grenell as Ambassador to Germany.
  • I dislike that Trump later appointed Ric Grenell as Acting Director of National Intelligence and as Special Presidential Envoy for Serbia and Kosovo Peace Negotiations. (Negotiations were successful, and President Trump was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for that accomplishment.) I dislike that.
  • I dislike that he successfully negotiated peace agreements between four Arab nations and Israel and was nominated for three more Nobel Peace Prizes. (It is highly unlikely that he will actually win a Nobel Peace Prize because he is Donald Trump, not Barack Obama who did get a Nobel Peace Prize without doing a single thing to earn it. And, I am OK with all of that.)
  • I dislike that President Trump kept almost every campaign promise while constantly having to fight Democrats and the media who were determined to remove him from power, let alone work with him. Not only did he keep virtually all of his campaign promises, he did much more than he promised, and he did everything while fighting off bogus charges that he colluded with the Russians and bogus impeachment charges. The behavior of the Democrats in these matters is unprecedented in US history and it is absolutely disgusting. And I am OK with all of that, too.
  • I dislike like that he worked for free and donated his salary to different charities.
  • I dislike that he has, arguably, done more for the Black community than any President since Lincoln.
  • I dislike that he has worked with Senator Tim Scott (R-NC) and passed “Invest In Opportunity Zones” to help minorities.
  • I dislike that he signed The First Step Act (FSA), or what a Black federal prisoner, Alice Johnson, who was released after Trump commuted her sentence, had to say about it. “Politicians talk about criminal justice reform, President Trump got it done.” I dislike that it gives people a second chance and has made a huge positive difference for Black communities.
  • I dislike that he passed significant VA reforms to benefit the those who serve our country and defend our freedom. Under Obama/Biden, veterans were dying by the thousands in VA hospitals because of gross mismanagement and neglect. President Trump cleaned house at the VA, which produced a 91% approval rating by US veterans—about 40% higher than under the Obama administration. That’s terrible and I dislike it.
  • I dislike that after decades of empty promises by countless presidents that they would fix our trade deficit with other countries, President Trump actually negotiated and signed new trade deals that benefit Americans.
  • I dislike that he calls out Fake News, which actually does exist, and which is, ultimately, harmful to the body politic of our nation. But I like to be lied to and so I like fake news.
  • I dislike that he ended wars and wanted to bring our men and women in the military home from where they are no longer really needed.
  • I dislike that he made a commitment to end child-trafficking and crimes against humanity and law enforcement has made 1000’s of arrests already. Terrible!
  • I dislike that he brought home over 40 Americans held captive in hostile countries, the last one from Iran, and was working to bring home more. (President Biden has been in office for almost a year and I have a not heard any talk about bringing stranded Americans home. In fact, he left a lot of Americans in Afghanistan and they’re still there. But that’s OK with me.)
  • I dislike that he was proven right about the Deep State and that his campaign was illegally spied on.
  • I dislike that he was a billionaire before he ran for president and I am happy that his net worth is at least 1/3 less than when he took office.
  • I dislike that he has made other countries pay their fair share of UN and NATO membership costs. I dislike that through Trump’s efforts, NATO took in an additional $140 billion and that Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO secretary general, said Trump helped the alliance adapt to “a more unpredictable world” and that he praised Trump for his successful campaign to get members to pay their dues. This was after countless presidents practically begged other nations to pay up, without any success.
  • I dislike that he respects cops, veterans, ICE & first responders.
  • I dislike that he does not sell out America to other countries, like prior leaders have done. (Could it be possible that those who manipulate our thinking and control the information we get and tell us to hate Donald Trump, do so for profit?)
  • I dislike that he has done more for Blacks in 3 1/2 years than our last 5 Presidents put together and that he is not a racist and that long-time friends of his, including Black friends, who have known him for 30 and 40 years keep telling us that he is not a racist and that the media is lying to us.
  • I dislike that Donald Trump loves America and puts America first just like all other world leaders put their country first. How dare he!
  • I dislike it when he calls someone “sleepy” or “Pocahontas” or “nasty,” even though he is almost always responding to those who have called him a traitor, a motherfu+#^*r, Putin’s butt boy, a Nazi, and on and on and on—when none of those accusations are true.
  • Finally, I dislike that President Trump did not listen to the status quo politicians and the establishment media when he created Operation Warp Speed. I dislike that he ignored their constant sarcastic nay-saying and that he urged and pushed pharmaceutical companies and the FDA to create and approve a viable vaccine in record time. And I dislike that his efforts were successful and that it saved millions of lives in countries around the globe and that it continues to do so. Who does he think he is, anyway?

Do your research. All of these terrible accomplishments are verifiable.

So that’s a short list of some of the things President Donald J. Trump did in just four years while the corrupt Democrats and their complicit fake news outlets did everything possible to prevent him from governing at all.

Now, please tell us about all the wonderful things Joe Biden has done over the past half century. OK, that was unfair because we all know that you won’t be able to come up with anything. Of course, he and his family did become very wealthy through payoffs from foreign and domestic sources. So instead, how about all the wonderful things he has done since he’s been president. Oops, that’s a bit of a problem too. We all know that he has almost destroyed the country. Oh well …
