Dear Ms. Lawrence,
You said, “The radical wing of the Republican Party is actively dismantling America’s right to vote because they don’t have the numbers to win otherwise.”
That is incorrect. It is the Democrats that are actively and illegally re-engineering voting laws to fix the vote in their favor because they can’t win honestly on the issues. That’s the truth.
If you had done your homework, you would have known that Republicans are committed to making it easier to vote and harder to cheat. Contrarily, Democrats are trying to make it much easier to vote and much easier to cheat. For example, they have been actively promoting massive mail-in voting without signature verification. But you wouldn’t know about these things if you are simply listening to and repeating false Democrat talking points.
As to your claim that Republicans “… don’t have the numbers to win otherwise,” once again, you are factually wrong. In fact, you are very wrong. So I will help you get up to speed. Here is the political makeup in the United States in 2021:
Republicans have full control of the legislative and executive branches in 23 states. Democrats have full control of the legislative and executive branches in 15 states. The population of the 23 fully Republican controlled states is 134,035,267, and the population of the 15 fully Democrat controlled states is 120,326,393. Then, in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Democrats have the smallest majority in over 140 years, and the US Senate is essentially a tie.
Once again, for emphasis and clarity, Republicans want to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat. Part of that is to have positive voter identification. In other words, Republicans want to know that whoever is casting a vote is a U.S. citizen. And in case you don’t know it, by a wide majority, Americans of all races, genders, and creeds, agree that we should have positive voter ID laws. I’m sure you agree that only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections.
So, whether you intend to or not, you are spreading false propaganda. In other words, you are spreading lies. With whatever influence you may have, you are hurting our country, and since I want to believe you mean to be a force for good, I urge you to publicly correct your mistakes. If you do not, the only rational conclusion would be that you are lying intentionally.
